GBU -- Interlude“There is no way in hell you are taking this piece of shit out of here!”“This isn’t up for discussion! It’s better if she’s with us rather than left behind without us to watch-”“This fucker nearly snapped my neck and I’ll be damned if I don’t repay the favor-”Kirby was dwarfed by the furious Noivern, the span of her spread wings blanketing him in shadow, but he stood his ground before his ward. Arm spread and eyes intensely focused, he took a step back closer to the group’s new unbound prisoner and tried to make himself heard over the Berzerker’s shouting. “There’s how many of us versus one of her! Besides, if anything does happen, I take full responsibility-”Gravedigger loomed over him, sneering over his head at the expressionless Gallade. Her voice was a snarl when she next spoke. “How about I do your dumb ass a favor and relieve you of that burden of ‘
GBU -- Support SystemWith each passing moment he could feel his trance slip. When he’d found himself first entering his state of zen, it was almost as if he’d been submerged in cool, still water. The world around him slowed and softened to a comfortable stillness - sounds were less grating, the bursts of energy less jarring. It was like something had unlocked within him, filling him with renewed energy and new knowledge.Among this new knowledge was the whispered revelation that he could use his fire for not just burning his opponents but healing his comrades, and as soon as the pair of hushed voices inside him explained this he put his palms against his wounded teammate and brought her back to consciousness. Though the sight of his new cleansing fire was unfamiliar it did not worry him; neither did his teammate’s lack of gratitude for his services. These things were not important, and in his current place it was the important things he sought. When the dark one was summoned, a part of hi
GBU - Black and White and Red All Over [R3]The instant the fog began to clear, a victorious whoop filled the air in its place. The sounds of voices and feet, no longer muffled by the stifling miasma, rang off of the walls around them as the adventurers struggled to get their bearings. Whatever few Joltik remained darted off into tiny cracks and slits in the stone brick walls, no longer concealed by the protective mist. After a few quick checks to make sure they were headed the right way, the ragtag band of adventurers shuffled in unison towards the newly revealed exit. Though the groups largely kept to their original bands of four, a few of those groups moved closer together and murmured amongst themselves, discussing tentative new alliances. Two parties headed by a Cherrim in a cape of motley and a helmeted Shuckle moved at the front of the group, followed by a third team that lagged slightly behind to meet the pace of a staggering Floatzel. The teams filtered forward in a disorderly mass through the hallway ahead.Near the ba
IPL - MISSION 4Squinting didn’t help her see any more clearly, but it felt like it did, and with how current events were panning out she needed all the help she could get.The passenger ferry bobbed in the movement of the waves and ice floes crashing into its hull. While the ship’s motion had been steadied somewhat with the assistance of a quick thinking trainer and his Rotom, the tumultuous motion of the ship had taken its toll on the passengers. Lenina had gotten off easy; she’d rather be blind than in that water, and at least from aboard the ferry she had a better handle on the situation. She didn’t need to see, anyway, as long as her Pokemon could hear her and knew what she needed them to do.Amongst the sounds of trainers shouting commands and panicked cries from the passengers, Lenina heard the splash of a nearby jet of water erupting not far to her left. The vague shape of something being heaved over the rails safely onto the deck of the ferry was hard for her to make o
