contest entry for :iconatomic-chinchilla:'s design a villain entry! kind of cobbled together because what is time but hopefully he likes her.

i can't think of really much to say. she's a character i've wanted to do something with for a while but never got anything good that she'd fit in. i can't think of a name for her because names are hard.

i turned her into a satori [link](folklore) because everything in his story has to have a basis in established mythology and it's the closest to what she is, i guess. she's only a villain because she actually wants to witness the end of the world, since she can't actually see how it'll end. the most important info is marked on the picture already, so if there's anything else that needs to be said let me know!

So she's a concept of Buddhism, or is she like a sort of superintelligent ancient pan-dimensional being thing like in 3X3 Eyes?

Interesting idea, she's almost the mirror opposite motives-wise of the character I made!

she's supposed to be the creature version of a satori, stupid deviantart dicked around with the wiki link. afraid i have no idea what 3x3 eyes is man :C

i saw him! he's neato! i especially like his powers, they're unusual and unique, which is always awesome to see.

I'll have to look up what that is! 3x3 eyes was about a Tibetan beast girl and her zombie companion back in the late 80s/early nineties it was pretty cray and filled with awesome Tibetan/Mongolian mythology

That. Is. So. COOL. 8D She's something I never would've expected! I love her mentality. When you can see the future and see people's thoughts, what else is there to see but the end of the world?

I can already picture her in some kind of neutral-antagonistic relationship with the heroes. She doesn't have the fighting power to take them all head-on but her eyes give her a unique edge to stay two steps ahead of everyone else.

Man, I love this. I really do. You are awesome.

exactly. the way i saw her was being sort of like a messenger for the antagonists or saboteur for the protags, only working with the more powerful villains because she has no real way to defend herself except for, like, dodging.

She kinda reminds me a little of this one-time villain from "The Batman." He was an otherwise ordinary guy, but he had the power to rewind time in 20-second bursts, and only he knew it was happening. So he could out-fight Batman because he essentially could see the future and knew every move Batman would make. That kind of clever power usage would make this girl a very tricky opponent even for the more powerful heroes. 8D

Holy crap I never even noticed it's not up there. What's your character's name?

that's really cool! i like when kind of more 'standardized' powers get tweaked and played around with to become non-standard, like that. if it makes sense.

her name is not there because as embarassing as it is i actually forgot what i'd named her. i didn't want to name her something explicitely japanese and weeaboo sounding either, so i just left it blank, figuring that it'd work itself out or something, lol. i am best at space
